                                                     designers, moving in sexy poses with a touch of provocative erotism
                                                     borrowed from the aesthetics of Helmut Newton, one of the great ma-
                                                     sters in the universe of Ellen von Unwerth.
                                                     And think that she would ever think of taking the camera in her hands
                                                     until her lens crossed a still unknown Claudia Schiffer, portrayed for
                                                     Elle France in 1988.
                                                     “She was a sweet girl, but only when I saw the photos I noticed her
                                                     resemblance to Brigitte Bardot. Soon after, she set out for the Guess
                                                     Jeans campaign and it acted as a springboard for my and her career”.
                                                     After Claudia, arrived Eva Herzigova and Nadja Auermann to crown
                                                     a rare artist’s quality, such as the ability to take away prejudices and
                                                     inhibitions - and often dresses - of some of the most famous women in
                                                     the fashion system and not only such as Madonna, Naomi Campbell,
                                                     Rihanna and Kate Moss. From fashion to her beloved Bavaria, told in
                                                     the “Heimat” series on a captivating and engaging photographic jour-
                                                     ney - mostly feminine - with a healthy dose of humor and vivacity.
